Brothers Kolby (left) and Evan (second from right) earned their Eagle Rank in 2017.  Together, their Eagle Scout Projects improved access to our chartering organization - American Legion Post 135 in Sabattus by reconstucting the stairways and handicap access ramp at the back of the building.  Their Eagle Ranks were presented to them just prior to the flag retirement ceremony run by American Legion Post 135 at the Heritage Park in Lewiston on July 3, 2018.  Both Kolby and Evan are now enrolled at Central Maine Technical College.  Pictured above from left to right are:  Kolby Boston, Robrt Boston (father), Robert Michaud (Scoutmaster), Evan Boston and Ausborn Boston (brother)

Alexandre Michaud passed his Eagle Board of Review and officially became Troop 110’s newest Eagle Scout in October 2015, but due to a busy schedule, the Eagle Court of Honor was scheduled for June 12, 2016.  The ceremony was held at the Wales Town Office where Alex’s Eagle Service Project was constructed.  His project was a new sign for the Wales Municipal Buildings that relocated to the former Wales Central School a few years ago.  The ceremony was attended by over 75 Scouts, friends and relatives.  We hope the ceremony serves as inspiration for the younger Scouts in attendance, especially our 4 Life Scouts that have the potential to join the ranks of Eagles by wrapping up their remaining requirements.

On January 20, 2013, Zachary Hall became the 3rd Eagle Scout in recent history in Troop 100.  Zack was recognized for his achievement at our Charter Organization, American Legion Post 135 in Sabattus, ME.  Friends, Family, and Honored guests from the Legion Hall were on hand for the ceremony which was opened with a blessing from Fr. Lionel Chouinard of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.

Zachary’s Eagle Scout project included many improvements to the property and grounds at the Sabattus Residential Care Facility.

Ian Bouffard-1

Boy Scout Troop 110 is proud to announce that Ian Bouffard of Wales, Maine has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.  Ian is the 4th Scout in Troop 110’s history to achieve this award.  He accomplished it by successfully progressing through the ranks from Cub Scouting through Boy Scouts.  Along the way he earned the Arrow of Light, the highest award issued in Cub Scouting.  He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow, the honor society within Boy Scouts which recognizes Scouts for their service to the Scouting program.

A major requirement for earning the rank of Eagle Scout is the Eagle Project.  Ian remodeled the church hall at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Sabattus, ME.  The hall had fallen into disrepair and was in need of new paint, wall board, lighting and other improvements.  The completed project was very well received by the church and presents a much better appearance for functions held in the hall.  Ian chose this project because he has been an active member of this church and wanted to make a positive impact there.

Ian will be formally honored for this achievement on June 5th at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor to be held at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church hall.

Markus Hall

On April 25 at 3:00 PM at the Sabattus Central School, Markus Hall will be recognized for acheiving the rank of Eagle Scout.  Markus is the 3rd Scout in the history of Troop 110 to acheive this distinction.

One of his most significant accomplishments on his path to Eagle was his Eagle Project where he designed and created a “Memory Garden” to honor a late teacher of Sabattus.  The Memory Garden (shown below) is now the centerpiece of the entrance to Sabattus Central School.
